On Monday, June 11, 2007, Atlantic Retail Properties, in conjunction with the Massachusetts Chapter of the ALS Association, hosted the annual Jim Given ALS Charity Golf Classic, at Nashawtuc Country Club in Concord, Massachusetts.
This is the 14th year for the event which was originally organized by Atlantic broker Jim Given and subsequently renamed in his honor after he lost a five year battle with the disease. The tournament is a highly anticipated annual event in the real estate industry because of the high level of respect people have for all that Jim represented and accomplished. His relentless work ethic in the face of this debilitating disease was an inspiration to all who knew him. To date, Atlantic has raised over $400,000, which helps to support research efforts and defers substantial cost for individuals who need financial assistance in fighting this devastating illness.
